Looking for someone to take over my “VW 411 LE Variant” project!

I bought a VW 411 LE Variant a few years ago - 1st HD, approx. 90,000 km with a replacement engine - although the original engine is still there and worked when it was replaced. The engine was only replaced because the local VW dealer had a brand new engine “left over” at the time and was able to sell it to the previous owner.

The car belonged to a friend’s father and was registered and insured for many years, but without a MOT in a garage, and was in a corresponding condition.

A good friend of mine is a master mechanic and had (had) an independent workshop in Hamburg. He learned his trade on such vehicles, among other things, and wanted to restore the car together with a friend and employee of the same age in addition to the usual work in the workshop. The work initially progressed well, as long as it was not slowed down by the difficulty of obtaining spare parts and the everyday work in the workshop. The goal was to restore the car to condition 2 as close to its original state as possible.

But then everything came to a massive standstill: First, the employee died of cancer, then another one stepped in, who also died of cancer shortly afterwards, and my friend himself could no longer work on the project because he was suffering from Parkinson's. He has since sold the workshop, but still works there as an office support worker. The vehicle is on a platform, with all the parts underneath. The attached pictures show an insight into the current condition. In addition, my project manager is of course happy to answer any questions about the work that has been done so far and the work that still needs to be done. In addition, he can also make well-founded statements about the existing (not yet reinstalled) and possibly still missing parts.

What I am looking for:

Option 1

A workshop - a competent hobby specialist or specialist workshop - that would take over the project and bring it to a successful conclusion.

If that doesn't work - or is only possible at a cost that I might not want to cover...

Option 2

Someone who takes over the project and purchases it completely as it is now.
