Ever since the association of VW 411/412 owners was founded as the predecessor of the VW411-412 Friends eV, it has been a good tradition to meet once or twice a year. These meetings served to talk shop during petrol talks, joint trips and also social gatherings. These meetings took place first in Germany, but later also in the Netherlands, Switzerland and Austria. In 2018 and 2022, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the start of production of the VW 411 and the VW 412, there were meetings at the Classic Days in Schloss Dyck and in Düsseldorf, where there was an opportunity to present our vehicles to a wide audience.
There was another form of presenting our club and its vehicles with different mottos for many years at the Techno Classica in Essen. There, a group of dedicated members of the Association of VW 411/412 Owners invested a lot of time and effort, as well as vacation days, to set up a stand that matched the respective motto with creative ideas and to answer visitors' questions about the VW Type 4.
Most of the photos from meetings up to 2010 and the Techno Classica come from the homepage of the VW 411/412 owners, from which our VW411-412 Friends eV emerged in August 2022.

International Type4 and K70 meeting in the Südheide Nature Park
from May 17th to 20th, 2024 (Pentecost)
On the Pentecost weekend 2024, the 1st International Type4 and K70 meeting took place in and around Celle, which brought together the former corporate competitors and their enthusiasts. There were 30 VW Type 4s and 32 VW K70s with 50 Type4 participants and around 65 K70 drivers. The VW Type 4 came from 7 countries. There were 13 VW 411s and 17 VW 412s. In addition to a joint trip to the Munster Tank Museum and an orientation trip, the sociable part with cozy meals and conversations about petrol was not neglected.

May beetle meeting in Hanover on May 1st, 2024
The interested visitors to this year's May Beetle meeting were also able to marvel at some VW 411/412s.

1st summer meeting from September 1st to 3rd, 2023 in Bundenbach
8 VW 411, 8 VW 412 and 1 VW Type 3 took part in this meeting. The quarters were set up in the Forellenhof Bundenbach. The annual general meeting took place on Friday. On Saturday, an excursion led first to the cylinder house in Bernkastel and later through the fascinating landscape along the Moselle. All participants were enthusiastic about the meeting. Ascension Day 2023 in Heusden (Asten)/ Netherlands
From May 17th to 21st, 2023, the Ascension Day meeting, organized by the VW 412 Club Holland, took place at Camping de Peelport in Heusden near Asten. Participants came from Holland, Germany, Switzerland and Sweden. On May 19th, 2023 we went on a joint trip to a camel milking farm and a stop at a café. On Saturday morning we then drove in convoy to VW Classic in Someren. There, a Swiss Type 4 driver was helped with a shock absorber problem while everyone else enjoyed coffee and cake and looked around the shop. After a barbecue together on Saturday evening, everyone drove home on Sunday morning and will remember a nice meeting.
